Robert Johnson, 741 South Easy Street <br />Chairman Davis felt that it was the County's job to provide the information so that <br />the residents could make a decision. <br />Commissioner Wheeler felt that the majority of the residents should vote for the <br />water service, before the County spends money on it, because the project might end up "sitting <br />on the shelf." <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and by a 3-2 <br />vote (Commissioners Solari and Wheeler opposed), the <br />Motion carried. The Board approved Project No. UCP - <br />4017, and authorized the Department of Utility Services to <br />proceed with the engineering design work and negotiate a <br />contract for survey services with one of the approved <br />survey consultants, in preparation for the special <br />assessment project, as recommended in the memorandum <br />of January 30, 2009. <br />13. CONTINUATION FROM JANUARY 13, 2009 MEETING — PROVENCE BAY <br />REQUEST FOR SIDEWALK EXTENSION <br />County Attorney William Collins recalled that on January 13, 2009, Centex <br />Homes, the Developer of Provence Bay, had requested a 2 -year sidewalk extension, at which <br />time the Board had required further information on which sidewalks had already been installed. <br />He directed the Board's attention to the map on page 265 of the backup, which contained the <br />39 <br />February 3, 2009 <br />
