Jens Tripson, 2525 14th Street, was concerned about the wide discrepancy of the <br />difference between what they say could be built. Director Keating explained the difference. <br />Mr. Tripson questioned the portion on 63rd Street to be closed off, asking if those <br />owners were going to be gated in. He did not see making a public road into a private road <br />beneficial to the public. <br />Director Boling explained that the Board's approval would not include closing any <br />portion of 63rd Street. <br />Lyndall Soule, Roseland Road, who owns 4 acres at the easternmost border of 63rd <br />Street, was not notified by Grand Harbor that they have a conceptual plan of closing the road. She <br />wanted to make sure she has access to her property and did not think closing 63rd Street and <br />making it a private road would benefit the people. <br />Richard Bialosky, Oyster Shell Lane, remarked that if the owners of property on <br />63rd Street would end up behind Grand Harbor's gates, they would be delighted. He also stated <br />that many residents feel it is a huge benefit to them. <br />Don Studley, 1060 East Polo Grounds Drive, considered the impact and wondered <br />why there was concern about cars when someone was bringing jobs and spending money for the <br />County. <br />There were no other speakers and the Chairman closed the Public <br />Hearing. <br />The Board and staff discussed staffs recommendation, concurrency, rezoning, <br />February 6, 2007 31 <br />
