recommendation and the County Conservation Lands Advisory Committee (CLAC's) request, <br />for the Board to rename the subject area "Cypress Bend Community Preserve". <br />Chief DeBlois thereafter responded to Chairman Davis's questions regarding the <br />differences between a "conservation area" and a "preserve". <br />Chairman Davis felt that a "preserve" had more limited public access, and <br />preferred to see the area renamed "Cypress Bend Community Conservation Area". <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wheeler, by a 4-1 vote (Chairman Davis <br />opposed), the Motion carried. The Board authorized <br />renaming the Russell Grove River Buffer Conservation <br />Area to "Cypress Bend Community Preserve", as <br />recommended in the memorandum of February 23, 2009. <br />12.B. He stated that the goal of the proposed health center <br />is to offset the increasing cost trends in health care which the County has been experiencing over <br />March 3, 2009 36 <br />
