The 10 acres to the west <br />are under negotiation to assemble a 20-acre site for multi-family “package.” <br /> <br />There were no additional speakers and the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Davis, <br />SECONDED by Chairman Neuberger, to approve staff’s <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Davis supported his motion saying the plan is to <br />develop the property at a lower density than allowed; it is located inside the urban service area; is <br />necessary in the community; and the Board will be able to view the site plan. <br /> <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the motion <br />carried unanimously adopting Ordinance No. 2006-007 <br />amending the zoning ordinance and the accompanying <br />zoning map for approximately 10.42 acres located north of <br />thth <br />16 Street and 930 feet west of 66 Avenue from A-1, <br />agricultural –1 district (up to 1 unit/5 acres), to RM-6, <br />multiple-family residential district (up to 6 units/acre); and <br />providing codification, severability, and effective date. <br /> <br />9.A.2.
