NOV 71979 BOOK <br />ENGINEER BEINDORF REPORTED THAT A CONSUMPTIVE USE PERMIT <br />WAS NOT REQUIRED FOR TROPIC VILLAS NORTH, BUT WE WILL HAVE TO <br />GET ONE FOR THE TROPIC VILLAS SOUTH, IF BOTH OF THESE PROJECTS ARE <br />PUT IN PRIOR TO THE COUNTY'S SYSTEM, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS INQUIRED ABOUT THE ESCROW AND HOW THE <br />DEVELOPER IS COORDINATING IT WITH THE COUNTY. <br />ENGINEER BEINDORF STATED THAT THE DEVELOPER HAS AGREED <br />TO ESCROW $200 FOR EACH TIE-IN, WHICH WILL GATHER INTEREST, AND <br />THEN LATER BE TURNED OVER TO THE COUNTY. HE CONTINUED THAT THE <br />APPLICANT HAS AGREED TO OBTAIN THE NECESSARY PERMITS AND BUILD TO <br />COUNTY SPECIFICATIONS. <br />ROBERT BELL, OF SAND DOLLARS BUILDERS, INC., STATED THAT <br />THEY ADDED THE TIE-IN FEE IN CASE THE FRANCHISE WOULD EVER BE <br />EXPANDED. <br />ATTORNEY KRAMER STATED THAT HE WANTED TO MAKE IT CLEAR <br />TO THE BOARD THAT HIS CLIENTS ARE NOT OPPOSING THE FRANCHISE; <br />JUST ASKING THE BOARD TO DEFER IT SO THAT THIS SUGGESTION COULD <br />BE EXPLORED WITH THE APPLICANT. <br />MR. LEONARD ASKED WHERE THE CONDOMINIUM OWNERS SHOULD <br />REPORT THEIR BAD WATER SITUATION, IN ORDER TO GET SOME SATISFACTION. <br />ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR NELSON INTERJECTED THAT THE <br />UTILITY DEPARTMENT COULD TAKE CARE OF THE COMPLAINT - IT MIGHT BE <br />JUST A DIRTY LINE AND JUST FLUSHING OUT THE LINES WOULD CORRECT <br />THIS. HE CONTINUED THAT THEY HAVE NOT HAD ANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT <br />WATER COLOR OR QUALITY. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />DEESON, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY CLOSED THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS ASKED WHAT WOULD BE NECESSARY, AT <br />A LATER DATE AS THE AREA TO THE SOUTH IS DEVELOPED, IF TROPIC <br />VILLAS WAS INTERESTED IN AN AGREEMENT TO CONSOLIDATE. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS NOTED THAT IT WOULD TAKE ONE HEARING, <br />AND THE CONCURRENCE OF THE UTILITY COMPANY, AS WELL AS THE DIRECTION <br />OF THE BOARD TO EXPAND THE AREA - THE COUNTY WOULD HAVE TO AGREE. <br />
