<br />Russel Herman <br />, 586 Redwood, speaking on behalf of the Friends of St. Sebastian <br />River, requested that the Board let the people vote on this important matter, and to keep Charter <br />government alive, but not to overly rush the date on the vote. <br /> <br />Robert Cook <br />, 710 Riomar Drive, wanted the Charter process to stop now. <br /> <br />Don Studley <br />, the Polo Grounds, was opposed to Charter government. <br /> <br />Nicholas Schaus <br />, 137 Anchor Drive, hoped the Board would leave Charter issues to <br />the voters to decide. <br /> <br />Peter Seed <br />, Indian River Shores, believed Charter needs additional work, it should <br />go to public hearings, and if the Board were not prepared to proceed he would feel betrayed. <br /> <br />Carol Webb <br />, 911 Ladybug Lane, believed it was not prudent to leave a decision of <br />this magnitude to the elected officials on how land use should be determined. She felt the voters <br />should have a voice. <br /> <br />George Hamner, Jr. <br />, Sandfly Lane, had no real disagreement with Charter, but felt <br />the Board should first pursue the ILA, move slower on Charter, and table the public hearings for <br />the future. <br /> <br />Jeff Bass <br />, 1281 Indian Mount Trail, did not understand Charter government. He <br />believed planning was the only way to control how a community looks and grows.
