NECESSITY OF TAKE RESOLUTION FOR PARCEL OF PROPERTY LOCATED <br />AT 6880 57TH STREET, EVANGELOS AND ANN ABAZIS, PARCEL 135 <br />(HOMESTEAD) <br />Attorney DeBraal divulged this to be the Abazis' homesteaded parcel, which <br />contains no structures in the take, only fencing and a driveway. He disclosed that the Abazis' <br />had been offered $44,200 in an unconditional offer, and that this parcel was part of the <br />stipulation. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED <br />by Chairman Davis, the Board by a 4-0 vote <br />(Commissioner Wheeler absent) approved Resolution <br />2009-068, declaring a reasonable necessity to acquire <br />certain real property for the purposes of improving and <br />reconstructing 66th Avenue, including side street, <br />intersection, sidewalk and water retention pond <br />improvements; authorizing the County Attorney to acquire <br />the attached properties by the institution of proceedings in <br />eminent domain, and providing an effective date. <br />(Parcel 135 — Evangelos and Ann Abazis). <br />28 <br />May 12, 2009 <br />
