MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER LYONS, SECONDED BY COMMIS <br />SIONER SIEBERT THAT TENTATIVE APPROVAL BE DENIED PENDING FURTHER <br />INFORMATION FROM THE DEVELOPER, AND THAT IT BE CONTINUED TO THE <br />AFTERNOON OF THE NEXT MEETING, DECEMBER 51 1979. <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED ALONG THOSE LINES. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE SUGGESTED THAT THE ADMINISTRATOR REVIEW <br />THE DRAINAGE PROBLEMS. <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS STATED THAT HE AGREED WITH <br />THE BOARD TO OBTAIN MORE INFORMATION. HE NOTED THAT IN SOME CASES, <br />A DEVELOPMENT OF THIS KIND CAN BE MADE AND THE FINAL PLAT GETS <br />ON RECORD, BUT EVERYTHING WILL BE BUILT UP BUT NOT THE LOW AREA. <br />HE CONTINUED THAT IF THE DEVELOPER DOESN'T EVER FILL IN THE LOW <br />AREA, THEN YOU HAVE A MUCK POND IN BETWEEN RESIDENCES, WHICH MAKES <br />AN AREA THAT IS UNSATISFACTORY. ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS REITERATED <br />THAT WHEN TENTATIVE APPROVAL IS GIVEN, THE COUNTY WANTS SOME <br />ASSURANCES THAT THE LOW AREAS WILL BE PROPERLY TAKEN CARE OF. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. IT WAS VOTED ON <br />AND PASSED UNANIMOUSLY. <br />THE NEXT ITEM ON THE AGENDA WAS THE ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY <br />INTO THE TOWN OF INDIAN RIVER SHORES AND A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM <br />R-1 To R -2A. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS FELT IT WAS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR THE <br />COMMISSION TO CONSENT TO AN INCREASE IN ZONING PRIOR TO THE <br />COMPLETION OF ANNEXATION. HE CONTINUED THAT HE THOUGHT THE TOWN <br />OF INDIAN RIVER SHORES HAS TO AGREE TO THIS FIRST. THE ITEM WAS <br />THEN WITHDRAWN FROM THE AGENDA. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE FELT THAT THE NEXT ITEM, WHICH WAS FOR <br />FINAL APPROVAL OF ISLAND SHORES SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF <br />INDIAN RIVER SHORES, REQUESTED BY .JAMES BEINDORF, DID NOT NECESSARILY <br />NEED THE BOARDS APPROVAL. <br />HENRY MUELLER, DEVELOPER, THEN APPROACHED THE BOARD AND <br />DISPLAYED A PLAT OF THE PROPERTY, AND STATED HE WAS PRESENT ON THE <br />ADVICE OF HIS ENGINEER; BUT THAT THE TOWN OF INDIAN RIVER SHORES <br />NOV 2x.1979 11 <br />8001(• 2 FAGEIQ$ <br />
