WENDY LANCASTER APPROACHED THE=BOARD REGARDING A REQUEST <br />FOR TENTATIVE APPROVAL OF OCEANRIDGE SUBDIVISION, REQUESTED BY <br />JAMES A. FOWLER, REPRESENTING JOSEPH .JORDANO. SHE NOTED THAT <br />THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY.25 ACRES- LOCATED ON SOUTH AIA EAST OF THE <br />HIGHWAY, ACROSS FROM ST. EDWARDS, SHE NOTED THAT THE OWNER HAS <br />PROVIDED FOR 20' OF RIGHT-OF-WAY AND ALSO PROVIDED FOR A NON -ACCESS <br />STRIP WHICH WOULD BE INCORPORATED IN THE WESTERLY 10' OF AN INTERNAL <br />ROAD.. PISS LANCASTER CONTINUED THAT ALL LOTS ARE PRIVATE, AND <br />THE SUBDIVISION REVIEW COMMITTEE SUGGESTED THAT SINCE THE NAMES <br />ON THE PLAN DO NOT CONFORM TO THE COUNTY ROAD NAMING SYSTEM <br />STANDARDS, THE NAMES BE CHANGED; AND APPLICANT PROPOSES A WATER <br />TREATMENT PLANT AND SEPTIC TANKS. Jack P. Schleifer, Trustee \, <br />Senate Bill 755 has been signed into law by the Governor. <br />This particular bill states in part, "Residential subdivisions with a public <br />water system, may utilize individual sewage disposal facilities, provided <br />there are no more than four (4) lots per acre, etc." <br />Rules and regulations necessary to implement the law are now being promul- <br />gated and going through the final process towards adoption by the Department j <br />of Health and Rehabilitative Services. <br />Since there are still some unanswered questions pertaining to the law, the <br />health department is unable to give its tentative approval to this sub- <br />division pending clarification and final adoption of the new rules and <br />regulations. <br />NOV 211979 <br />7 AOOK 42AGE104 <br />J <br />
