APPROVAL OF BID AWARD FOR IRC BID # 2006072 STATIONARY <br />GENERATOR ELECTRICAL TIE IN – UTILITIES DEPARTMENT / <br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT DIVISION <br /> <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wheeler, the Board <br />unanimously approved awarding the Bid to Ion, Inc., <br />as the lowest most responsive and responsible bidder <br />meeting the specifications as set forth in the <br />Invitation to Bid, and as recommended in the <br />memorandum of April 26, 2006. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RD <br />7.L. 43 AVE SUB COMPLEX – CHANGE ORDER #2 (CHILBERG <br />CONSTRUCTION) <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wheeler, the Board <br />unanimously approved Change Order No. 2 <br />($952.21) and authorized the County Administrator <br />to execute the approved Change Order, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of May 8, 2006. <br /> <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO BE BOARD <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />7.M. APPROVAL OF BID AWARD FOR IRC BID #2006071 FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 20,000 LB VEHICLE LIFTS. FLEET <br />MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT & EMERGENCY SERVICES <br />DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />Commissioner Lowther inquired whether this was something we could utilize; if it would <br />be able to withstand lifting fire trucks of 20,000 lbs; and, what was the purpose of it. <br />Administrator Baird did not believe it could lift that weight.
