PROBLEM WITH ROOFS IS THE INABILITY TO GET GOOD INSPECTIONS. THEY <br />FELT THAT IT WAS QUALITY OF WORK THAT WAS RESPONSIBLE MORE THAN <br />ANYTHING ELSE FOR US LOSING AS MANY ROOFS AS WE DID DURING THE <br />HURRICANE. THEY WILL LOOK INTO THIS AND SEND US A RECOMMENDATION. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT IT HAS BEEN <br />RECOMMENDED THAT THE FOLLOWING FIRMS BE INTERVIEWED AS PROSPECTIVE <br />ENGINEERS FOR THE REDESIGN OF INDIAN RIVER BOULEVARD FROM S.R. 60 <br />TO BARBER AVENUE: <br />REYNOLDS, SMITH AND HILLS - '.OR.LANDO <br />GREINER ENGINEERING SCIENCES, INC. - TAMPA <br />CH2M HILL - BOCA RATON <br />AMERICAN ENGINEERS - ORLANDO <br />HE CONTINUED THAT WE ALSO WANT TO INTERVIEW IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br />JOINT DRAINAGE STUDY, AND THERE MIGHT BE SOME MERIT IN CHOOSING AN <br />ENGINEER FOR INDIAN RIVER BOULEVARD OUT OF THE FIRMS ALSO SCHEDULED <br />TO DO THE DRAINAGE STUDY FOR THAT PARTICULAR AREA. <br />AFTER FURTHER DISCUSSION, IT WAS DECIDED TO SCHEDULE <br />THESE INTERVIEWS FOR WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12TH FROM 3!00 P.M. TO <br />7:00 P.M. WITH 30 MINUTE PRESENTATION PERIODS FOR EACH AND 15 MINUTES <br />FOR QUESTIONS. <br />THE SEVERAL BILLS AND ACCOUNTS AGAINST THE COUNTY, HAVING <br />BEEN AUDITED, WERE EXAMINED AND FOUND TO BE CORRECT, WERE APPROVED <br />AND WARRANTS ISSUED IN SETTLEMENT OF SAME AS FOLLOWS: TREASURY FUND <br />NOS. 63049 - 641721NCLUSIVE.
