MRS. THERESA BUSS, A RESIDENT OF THE COUNTY SINCE 1932, <br />INFORMED THE BOARD THAT SHE OWNS THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY TO THE <br />WEST OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY. SHE STATED THAT SHE APPRECIATES THE <br />FACT THAT ONLY 14' IS INVOLVED, BUT THIS AREA IS FAST BECOMING VERY <br />VALUABLE RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY, AND THERE ARE BEAUTIFUL HOMES ON <br />ACRE LOTS. SHE HAD BEEN UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THIS ALL WAS IN <br />C-1 AND R-1, AND SHE FELT THE 14' IN QUESTION IS VERY IMPORTANT <br />SINCE IT WOULD AT LEAST CREATE A BUFFER ZONE FOR HER PROPERTY. <br />MRS. BUSS HOPED THAT THE BOARD WOULD CONSIDER THAT THE 14' STRIP•IS <br />JUST AS IMPORTANT TO HER AS IT IS TO THE MOBILE HOME PARK. SHE <br />FURTHER STATED THAT SHE WAS NOT NOTIFIED WHEN THIS ZONING WAS CHANGED <br />TO ALLOW A MOBILE HOME PARK. <br />HARRY SAFRAN, WHO OWNS 8 ACRES ON OSLO ROAD ZONED <br />COMMERCIAL, WISHED TO KNOW HOW THE PROPOSED REZONING WOULD AFFECT <br />HIS PROPERTY. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT INFORMED HIM THAT IT WOULD NOT CHANGE HIS <br />ZONING AND SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY AFFECT ON HIS PROPERTY AT ALL. <br />DISCUSSION AROSE ABOUT THE GENERAL REZONING DONE ON OSLO <br />ROAD SOMETIME LAST YEAR, AND THE BOARD WISHED TO KNOW IF THE MAP <br />DISPLAYED IS CURRENT. PLANNING DIRECTOR REVER STATED THAT THE MAP <br />IS CURRENT AND THERE IS COMMERCIAL ON ALL CORNERS OF THE INTERSECTION. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS NOTED THAT THE 14' IS REALLY NOT USEFUL <br />TO THE PROPERTY AT PRESENT EXCEPT TO GROW TREES. <br />ATTORNEY CLEM POINTED OUT THAT THEY HAVE NOT TOTALLY <br />ANALYZED THE PROPERTY USE AND LAYOUT SO FAR. HE NOTED THAT THE <br />STRIP IS HALF ON COMMERCIAL ZONING AND HALF ON RESIDENTIAL WHILE <br />THE REMAINDER OF THE PROPERTY IS ALREADY ZONED FOR MOBILE HOMES. <br />MR. CLEM REPORTED THAT MR. CLARK HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN THE DEVELOPMENT <br />OF MOBILE HOMES FOR 20 YEARS, AND HE FEELS THE.BEST LAYOUT WOULD BE <br />TO HAVE WIDER STREETS, FOR WHICH THE 14' IS NEEDED. ATTORNEY CLEM <br />CONTINUED THAT THEY WILL HAVE TO GO BACK FOR SITE PLAN APPROVAL, <br />WHICH HAS STRINGENT REQUIREMENTS, AND HE WOULD URGE MRS. BUSS TO <br />BE THERE AND BE HEARD AT THAT TIME.
