ATTORNEY COLLINS QUESTIONED WHAT MR. GRABENAUER MEANT BY <br />A It LIFE ESTATE,°° AND MR. GRABENAUER EXPLAINED THAT HIS CONTRACT <br />WITH MR. GILL GAVE HIM THE RIGHT TO LIVE ON THE PROPERTY FOR THE <br />REST OF HIS LIFE. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS STATED THAT IF MR. GRABENAUER HAS A WARRANTY <br />DEED, AND IT -WAS SIGNED PRIOR TO MR. GILL°S DEATH, THEN TITLE IS IN <br />MR. GRABENAUER°S NAME. <br />MR. GRABENAUER STATED THAT HE DOES HAVE A WARRANTY DEED. <br />HE NOTED THAT WHEN HE BOUGHT THIS PROPERTY FOUR YEARS AGO, YOU COULDN'T <br />GET ON THE PROPERTY WITH A TANK, AND HE HAS BEEN WORKING ON IT, <br />HAULING LOADS OF JUNK TO THE DUMP, AND WAS NOT AWARE OF ANY SPECIFIC <br />DATE WHEN HE WAS SUPPOSED TO TEAR IT DOWN. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS ASKED IF 90 DAYS WOULD BE A REASONABLE <br />PERIOD TO ASK THAT`THIS WILL BE TORN DOWN. <br />MR. GRABENAUER FELT THAT WOULD BE FAIR. HE ASKED IF THE <br />CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT WOULD BURN THIS DOWN, AND COMMISSIONER LOY FELT <br />HE WOULD BE BETTER OFF IF IT WERE REMOVED BY THE COUNTY. <br />MR. GRABENAUER STATED THAT HE DID NOT KNOW WHAT THE COUNTY <br />WOULD CHARGE, AND ATTORNEY COLLINS EXPLAINED THAT THE CHARGE IS THE <br />DIRECT COST OF THE COUNTY TO TEAR IT DOWN; THERE IS NO PROFIT FACTOR. <br />HE DID NOT BELIEVE ANYONE COULD CONTRACT TO DO IT FOR LESS. <br />MR. GRABENAUER CONTINUED THAT THIS PLACE HAS LOOKED LIKE <br />A DUMP FOR YEARS, AND NOW THAT HE HAS COME IN AND MORE OR LESS BEAUTI- <br />FIED IT, SUDDENLY THE PRESSURE IS BEING PUT ON HIM TO REMOVE IT. <br />IT WAS EXPLAINED THAT THE BOARD IS MAKING A CONCERTED <br />EFFORT TO GET THESE HAZARDOUS STRUCTURES REMOVED. <br />ON MOTION MADE BY COMMISSIONER LYONS, SECONDED BY COMMIS- <br />SIONER Loy, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY DETERMINED THAT THE IMPROVEMENTS <br />LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY OWNED BY DALE GRABENAUER, PREVIOUSLY OWNED <br />BY EVERETT J. GILL, DECEASED, LOCATED AT 1095 27TH AVENUE (INDIAN <br />RIVER FARMS CO. SUB. PBS 2-25 S 1 ACRE OF S 5 ACRES OF E 10 ACRES OF <br />TRACT 1, OR BK. 486, PP 765) ARE HEREBY DECLARED TO BE HAZARDOUS AND <br />ARE PRESENTING A SAFETY AND HEALTH THREAT TO THE CITIZENS OF INDIAN <br />0 <br />50 <br />42 <br />MAR 51980 '"` <br />
