<br />Commissioner Wheeler was concerned that a high-end residential development would not <br />be compatibility with a sewer plant, a racetrack, and an airport. <br />Commissioner Davis stated it was his opinion that the Board should approve the rezoning <br />and record the easements to protect the airport. <br />Commissioner Lowther agreed. <br />Chairman Neuberger had concerns with the racetrack, the sewer plant, and the airport. He <br />told the developer he is going to have to jump through hoops later on. He said he was sure that he <br />was not going to cause problems by putting something under the clear zone. <br /> <br />The Board discussed locking in a PD with the zoning as part of the Motion. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lowther, the Board by a 3-1 vote <br />(Commissioner Wheeler opposed and Commissioner <br />Ordinance 2006-018 <br />Bowden absent) adopted amending <br />the zoning ordinance and the accompanying zoning map for <br />st <br />+/- 247.67 acres located at the northwest corner of 1 Street <br />nd <br />SW and 82 Avenue from A-1, Agricultural District (up to <br />1 unit/5 acre), to RS-3, single family residential district (up <br />to 3 units/acre), and providing codification, severability, <br />and effective date. <br /> <br />9.A.3.
