1 boot 43 ?4400 INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 80- 14 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE 74-12 OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY UPDATING THE GAS CODE ADOPTED BY INDIAN RIVER COUNTY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Indian River County Ordinance 74-12 is hereby amended by the adoption of the Standard Gas Code, 1979 Edition, as printed by the Southern Building Code Congress Inter- national:, Inc. which 1979 Edition is by reference hereby adopted as the Gas Code of Indian River County, Florida, with the following modifications: Section I. 1. Bond and License Section 107 is amended to read as follows: "No person shall engage in or work at the installation, extension, alteration of consumer's gas piping or certain gas appliances until such person shall have secured all licenses as required by State and County law. Unless required by State Law, no bond shall be required." 2. Fees Section 113 is amended to read as follows: "Fees for permits required by this Code shall be established by Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida." 3. Violations and Penalties Section 114 is amendedto read as follows: "Any person that shall fail to comply with or violate any of the provisions of this Code shall be guilty of a misdemeanor in the second degree and upon conviction thereof shall be liable by fine or imprisonment as pro- vided by State Law." 4. Appeals Section 115 is amended by adding the following: "Appeals shall be made to the Board of Adjustment and Appeals as established in the Building Code Ordinance." Section II. This Ordinance hereby repeals all Ordinances in conflict herewith. Section III. Effective Date This Ordinance shall become effective according to law. This Ordinance shall take effect April 28, 1980.
