1 <br />boot 43 ?4400 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 80- 14 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE 74-12 <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY UPDATING THE GAS CODE ADOPTED BY <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Indian River County Ordinance 74-12 <br />is hereby amended by the adoption of the Standard Gas Code, 1979 <br />Edition, as printed by the Southern Building Code Congress Inter- <br />national:, Inc. which 1979 Edition is by reference hereby adopted <br />as the Gas Code of Indian River County, Florida, with the following <br />modifications: <br />Section I. <br />1. Bond and License Section 107 is amended to read as follows: <br />"No person shall engage in or work at the installation, <br />extension, alteration of consumer's gas piping or certain <br />gas appliances until such person shall have secured all <br />licenses as required by State and County law. Unless <br />required by State Law, no bond shall be required." <br />2. Fees Section 113 is amended to read as follows: <br />"Fees for permits required by this Code shall be established <br />by Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida." <br />3. Violations and Penalties Section 114 is amendedto read <br />as follows: <br />"Any person that shall fail to comply with or violate any <br />of the provisions of this Code shall be guilty of a <br />misdemeanor in the second degree and upon conviction <br />thereof shall be liable by fine or imprisonment as pro- <br />vided by State Law." <br />4. Appeals Section 115 is amended by adding the following: <br />"Appeals shall be made to the Board of Adjustment and <br />Appeals as established in the Building Code Ordinance." <br />Section II. <br />This Ordinance hereby repeals all Ordinances in conflict <br />herewith. <br />Section III. <br />Effective Date This Ordinance shall become effective <br />according to law. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect April 28, 1980. <br />
