INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 80-15 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE 74-13 <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY UPDATING THE MECHANICAL CODE ADOPTED <br />BY INDIAN RIVER COUNTY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Indian River County Ordinance 74-13 is <br />hereby amended by the adoption of the Standard Mechanical Code, 1979 <br />Edition, as printed by the Southern Standard Building Code Congress <br />International, Inc. which 1979 Edition is by reference hereby adopted <br />as the Mechanical Code of Indian River County, Florida, with the <br />following modifications: <br />Section I. <br />1. Schedule of Permit Fees Section 106.3 is amended to read: <br />"Mechanical Permit Fees shall be paid before a permit <br />is issued in accordance with a schedule established by <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, by Resolution." <br />2. Violations and Penalties Section 109 is amended to read: <br />"Any person, firm or corporation or agent who shall <br />violate a provision of this Ordinance or fail to comply <br />therewith or any provision thereof, or violate a detailed <br />statement or plans submitted and approved thereunder, <br />shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, <br />and upon conviction shall be subject to fine or imprison- <br />ment as provided by State Law." <br />3. Right of Appeal Section 110 is hereby amended to read: <br />"All persons shall have the right to appeal the Mechanical <br />Official's decisions to the Board of Adjustment and Appeals <br />as established in the Building Code Ordinance." <br />Section II. <br />This Ordinance hereby repeals all Ordinances in conflict <br />herewith. <br />Section III. <br />Thib Ordinance shall become effective according to -law. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect April 28,'1980. <br />4 <br />.
