RESOLUTION NO. 80-48 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Loan Funds in the amount of <br />$5,825,900 and Grant Funds in the amount of $796,900.00 <br />committed by Farmers Home Administration to Indian River <br />County for the purpose of developing the South County <br />Water System, the Board of County Commissioners deems <br />it necessary to acquire a site location for well fields <br />and plant site; and <br />WHEREAS, the location on Oslo Road near 20th Avenue is <br />deemed, based on engineering reports, to be the appropriate <br />location of the well fields and plant site; and <br />WHEREAS, appropriate governmental officials have located <br />the site described as follows for acquisition: <br />and <br />All of Tract 9 less the East 15 acres thereof <br />and the West 10 acres of Tract 16 and the North <br />5 acres of the East 8.48 acres of the West 18.48 <br />acres of Tract 16, all in Section 23, Township <br />33 South, Range 39 East, according to the last <br />general plat of lands of Indian River Farms <br />Company as recorded in the office of the Clerk <br />of the Circuit Court, St. Lucie County, Florida, <br />and recorded in Plat Book 2, page 25, now being <br />located in Indian River County, Florida, less <br />and excepting all rights of way for Oslo Road <br />and drainage canals; <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida declares the need to acquire the above <br />described site is in the public interest and for the public <br />welfare of the County and that the providing of a South <br />County Water System is an appropriate governmental public <br />purpose; and <br />WHEREAS, condemnation of the proposed site pursuant to <br />Florida law is deemed necessary and appropriate to satisfy <br />the need of providing a location for the South County Water <br />System; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY; FLORIDA, that appropriate <br />4ci <br />MAY 2.11980 ;eabK �f57�9 <br />
