He recommended that the Board adopt the proposed Ordinance. He outlined the <br />objectives, which are to reduce per unit development cost, adequate esthetic appearance, adequate <br />common space, adequate sidewalk provisions, and to ensure provision of affordable or “workforce” <br />housing. He also noted that if no ordinance is adopted it would do away with the moratorium. <br /> <br />In response to Commissioner Davis’ question regarding getting help from another entity (e.g. <br />SHIP) in the purchase of a home, Director Boling advised that they are setting a formula (in the <br />ordinance) that would come up with a cap on the sales price.
