1 <br />i <br />1 <br />1 <br />3?1_ <br />TUESDAY AUGUST 19, 1930. <br />Avenue ditch on B-11 be built. <br />The several bills against the County having been audited, were examined and <br />found corredt, were approved and warrants ordered issued in payment of same, the said <br />bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of Circuit Court. The <br />warrants so drawn and issued in payment of said bills a nd accounts being listed completely <br />in the County Finance Record, as provided by law, reference to said County Finance record, <br />and the list so recorded therein being made a part of these minutes as fully and complete] <br />as if said warrants were set out herein in detail. <br />There being no further business the :Board then adjourned to meet in regular <br />session Tuesday September 2nd, 19300 unless sooner convened by call of the Chairman. <br />Chai =an. <br />Cler . <br />-_w-wrw-ww ww w��r-rwrrrw _�_rw_r.r-w_-w-r wrrrr--rr-rrrrsr�-r wwr wwrr wr-rrrwrwwwwwwrrww wr _��_ <br />TUESDAY, SEPTEitMER 2nd 1930. <br />The Board of County Commissioners <br />in <br />and <br />for Indian River County, Florida, met at <br />the Court House in Vero Beach, Florida, <br />at <br />10 <br />o'clock A.M.Tuesday, September 2nd 1930, <br />with the following members of the Board present: J. D. Yonguet J. Yl, LaBruce; J. J. P. <br />Hamilton and John H. Atkin. .Absent Albert 0. Helseth, Chairman. .Also present were <br />Miles Marren, Clerk and Clark S. Rice, ,sheriff. <br />On motion duly made, seconded and carried, John H. Atkin was named Chairman pro - <br />tem in the absence of the Chairman. <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br />P.E.Morgan appeared before the Board regarding Ce erection of a fish house on old <br />road leading. to old bridge across Sebastian River, and requested authority for permissi <br />to erect such a building or taking charge of a building already there. It was of the <br />opinion of the Board that they did not have any right in and to the former right-of-way <br />as the road has been abandoned and this Board no longer claims a right of way. <br />B.K.Kersey and Paul Luther appeared before the Board regarding ditch on the Paul <br />Luther road at Winter Beach. It was ordered this road -ditch be opened up when the <br />machine is neer that location. <br />The County Nurse appeared before the Board and made report of her acticities. <br />Mothers' Pension application of Mrs <br />Maude Crosby, of <br />Vero Beach, <br />having been received, <br />and considered, it was ordered she <br />be placed on the <br />pension list <br />to receive $20.00 per <br />month. Application of Tom Herring, colored, Fellsm.ere, Florida, to be placed on the <br />pauper list was received and considered, and ordered he be placed on the pauper list to <br />receive $20.00 per month. <br />The County Agricultural Agent filed his monthly report of activities throughout the <br />County. <br />It wa.s ordered that F. G. Fletche r prepare plans and spe cif icati ons f orma sto re f <br />6 <br />room and garage at the County Jail. It -was -further-erdeved-that- the- G1erk-prepare-as 41e <br />oi_ad�sx'de <br />It was ordered the Clerk forward to Pauly Jail Building Company, Gt. Louis, Mo., M <br />16 time warrants of $1,000.00 each on account of jail building contract. <br />The Notary Public bond of Anne Eckhoff in the sum of $500.00 with The American <br />'Surety Company, a corporation, as surety was approved. <br />
