Chairman Ginn opposed) adopted Resolution No. 2003-107 <br />establishing the tax millage rate (1.6804) to be levied upon all <br />real and personal taxable property in Indian River County, <br />Florida, for Fiscal Year 2003-2004 for the Indian River County <br />General Purpose Municipal Service Taxing Unit. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Neuberger, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board by a 4-1 vote (Vice Chairman <br />Ginn opposed) adopted Resolution No. 2003-108, amending <br />the County Budget Officer=s estimates of receipts other than <br />taxes and of balances to be brought forward for Fiscal Year <br />2003-2004 and adopting a final budget for the Indian River <br />County General Purpose Municipal Service Taxing Unit (in the <br />amount of $23,671,591). <br />5.A.3. TRANSPORTATION FUND (No millaze) <br />Administrator Chandler announced the total proposed budget for the Transportation <br />Fund was in the amount of $12,853,654. This is a 4.8% increase overall. There is no <br />millage levied for this fund. It is included in the ad valorem budgets inasmuch as about <br />66% of it is funded through transfers from MSTU and the General Fund. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in <br />this matter.
