11.J.2. ROCKRIDGE SUBDIVISION DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS — UCP#2521 <br />CHANGE ORDER No. 1 TO GIANNETTI CONTRACTORS, INC. <br />(Clerk's Note: The next three items were heard immediately following Item 9.A.2. <br />and are placed here for continuity). <br />Utilities Director Erik Olson discussed the details of this item as provided in his <br />September 6, 2007 memorandum. He stated that there were two parts to the Change Order: <br />(1) to finalize the clean up of the embankments, and (2) to change the design characteristics <br />of some air relief valves within the sewer project. <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chair Bowden, SECONDED by <br />Chairman Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />Change Order No. 1 to Giannetti Contractors for <br />$49,861.37 for the work detailed in Attachment 1, Item 1, <br />4, and 5; and authorized the Chairman to execute same, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of September 6, 2007. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />11.J.3. GRAND HARBOR SPOONBILL MARSH SITE, WORK ORDER No. 21 WITH <br />MASTELLER, MOLER, REED & TAYLOR, INC. FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSE, <br />SURVEY OF THE SPOONBILL MARSH TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION <br />EASEMENT <br />Utilities Director Erik Olson provided a detailed and historical analysis of what <br />has brought the County into the Spoonbill Marsh project, a 62 -acre mosquito impoundment <br />September 18, 2007 42 <br />
