Other related expenses <br />1.8 Return of Funds <br />Any funds, or part thereof, not expended for the aforementioned <br />services shall be considered COMMISSION funds, and shall be <br />returned to the COMMISSION. Any funds improperly expended in <br />violation of this Contract or State requirements, or any <br />funds incorrectly expended shall be returned in full to the <br />COMMISSION. <br />1.9 Comply with Title VI and VII, Civil Rights Act of 1964: <br />a. To comply with Title VI and VII, Civil Rights Act of <br />1964 (42 USC 2000d), Executive Order No. 11246; <br />entitled "Equal Employment Opportunity", as supplemented <br />in Department of Labor Regulations (41 CFR Part 60), and <br />in Department of Labor Regulations (41 CFR Part 60), and <br />Federal Regulations concerning non-discrimination because <br />of mental and physical handicaps. <br />b. In the event of the COUNTY'S non-compliance with the <br />requirements of this clause, the Contract may be <br />terminated or suspended in whole or in part. <br />1.10 Monitoring: <br />To permit the DEPARTMENT to monitor the activities in the <br />COU14TY according to applicable regulations of: ---the Federal <br />and State Governments. <br />1.11 Retention of Records: <br />Retain all financial records, supporting documents, statistical <br />records, and any other documents pertinent to this Contract for <br />a period of three (3) years after starting date of the applicable <br />retention period, or if audit findings have not been resolved at <br />the end of five (5) year period, the records shall be retained <br />until resolution of the audit findings. Persons duly authorized <br />by the COMMISSION shall have full access to, and the right to <br />examine any of said materials during Contract period. <br />2. The COMMISSION agrees to: <br />2.1 Pay the COUNTY a total sum of $ 9,011 <br />2.2 Payment will be made on a quarterly basis upon complete <br />execution of this Contract. The third (3rd) quarter <br />(January 1, 1981 through March 31, 1981) and the -fourth <br />(4th) quarter (April 1, 1981 through June 30, 1981) funds <br />will not be provided until the COMMISSION receives the <br />COUNTY ANNUAL EXPENDITURE REPORT* on the form provided by <br />the COMMISSION. <br />*Note: The County Annual Expenditure Report, defined in <br />paragraph 1.7 of this Contract, requires a summary of funds <br />expended by the COUNTY for medical examiners support during <br />the county fiscal year, October 1, 1979 through September 30, <br />1980. This report is expected in the Commission office no <br />later than January 10, 1981. <br />3.
