The Vice Chairman closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Davis, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 2005-034 amending the Zoning Ordinance and <br />the accompanying zoning map for more or less 7.31 acres <br />thth <br />located at the northwest intersection of 45 Street and 50 <br />Avenue, from RMH-8, Residential Mobile Home district <br />(up to 8 units/acre), to RS-6, Single Family Residential <br />District (up to 6 units/acre). <br /> <br />9.A.7. PUBLIC HEARING – REQUEST TO REZONE 7.74 ACRES <br />TH <br />FROM CH TO CG – BEALE HOLDING INC. – NORTH OF 9 <br />STREET SOUTHWEST (OSLO ROAD) AND <br />RD <br />APPROXIMATELY 580 FEET EAST OF 43 AVENUE <br />PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR HEARING IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />Community Development Director Bob Keating used a PowerPoint presentation <br />(copy on file) to illustrate the location, size, purpose, Planning and Zoning recommendations, <br />existing land uses, the criteria analyzed, concurrency, consistency with the Comprehensive Plan, <br />environmental impacts, and compatibility of the proposed rezoning. <br /> <br />The Vice Chairman opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Bob Johnson <br />, Coral Wind Subdivision, felt that there are many reasons why this <br />rezoning should not take place including encroachment into residential communities and traffic. <br />Mr. Johnson was not in favor of the rezoning. <br /> <br />September 6, 2005 24 <br /> <br />
