PUBLIC HEARING – INDIAN RIVER CLUB – <br />MODIFICATION OF THE APPROVED PLANNED <br />DEVELOPMENT (PD) CONCEPTUAL PLAN (PLAT 5) <br />PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR HEARING IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />Planning Director Stan Boling explained this modification would only apply to <br />courtyard style homes in Indian River Club. He stated the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />voted 4-1 to approve this recommendation. He furnished that the purpose of the privacy wall <br />provision was for visual and noise reasons. <br /> <br />The Vice Chairman opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Joe Bittle <br />, 1875 Tarpon Lane, explained the owner just wanted the ability to put in <br />a screen enclosure if they choose. <br /> <br />The Vice Chairman closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Davis, the Board unanimously approved <br />(by a 4-0 vote Chairman Lowther absent) the conceptual <br />PD plan modification to establish a 0-foot side setback for <br />pool enclosures within the Indian River Club Plat 5 <br />neighborhood with the following conditions: (1) The 0- <br />foot side setback for pool enclosures shall apply only to <br />the courtyard design homes.
