MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Wheeler, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner O'Bryan, to approve <br />Work Order No. 6 Sector 3 Cultural Resources Survey, <br />with Coastal Technology Corporation. <br />Dr. Gorham responded in the negative to Commissioner O'Bryan's query on whether the <br />report would delay work on the Sector 3 Project. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />Motion carried unanimously. The Board approved Work <br />Order No. 6 Sector 3 Cultural Resources Survey, with <br />Coastal Technology Corporation, as recommended in the <br />memorandum of August 27, 2009. <br />WORK ORDER ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />12.1.3. AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT- SECTOR 3 BEACHRESTORATION <br />Deputy County Attorney William DeBraal disclosed Chairman Davis's relationship to <br />Brian Davis Mines, an upland sand source provider involved in the bidding process. Chairman <br />Davis confirmed the Conflict of Interest, and established that he would not vote, and he would <br />provide to the Clerk's office the required Form 8B, Memorandum of Voting Conflict for County, <br />Municipal, and Other Local Public Officers. <br />There was a CONSENSUS by the Board that Chairman <br />Davis would continue to Chair the meeting; however, he <br />would not engage in the discussion or vote. <br />(Clerk's Note: Form 8B, Memorandum of Voting Conflict for County, Municipal, and <br />Other Local Public Officers is on file in the Office of the Clerk to the Board). <br />29 <br />September 8, 2009 <br />
