Contracting, Inc., in the amount of $4,027.20, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of August 14, 2009. <br />12.13. 43" AVENUE WIDENING AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS FOR PUBLIC <br />WORKS ROAD WAYPROJECTNO. 9601 AND 43RDAVENUE & 44THAVENUE <br />SOUTH OF SR 60 AND 16TH STREET WEST TO OLD SAVANNAH <br />SUBDIVISIONLOW PRESSURE FORCE MAINSYSTEM, RETAIN CARTER & <br />ASSOCIATES FOR SURVEYING, DESIGN, PERMITTING AND CONSTRUCTION <br />PHASE SERVICES <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Vice Chairman Flescher, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Solari, to approve staff's <br />recommendation. <br />Commissioner Wheeler recalled that he had requested that the Transportation Plan be <br />brought back to the MPO (Metropolitan Planning Organization), and so far, nothing has come <br />back. Commissioner Solari said that the MPO meeting was the following day, on September 9, <br />2009, and the matter could be brought up at that time. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and the <br />Motion carried unanimously. The Board: (1) approved the <br />Project for an estimated $300,000 in construction; and (2) <br />authorized the Chairman to execute Work Order No. 1 <br />from Carter Associates, Inc. for surveying, design, <br />permitting, bidding and construction phase services for the <br />low pressure force main system for $35,505.00 plus <br />$500.00 additional expenses, as presented, for a total <br />amount of $36,005.00, as recommended in the <br />memorandum of August 20, 2009. <br />W, <br />September 8, 2009 <br />
