Hall <br />Account Executive <br />Southern Bell Telephone and <br />Telegraph Company <br />423 Fern Street <br />West Palm Beach, Florida 33402 <br />Dear Mrs. Hall: <br />M <br />Please accept this letter as our request and order for <br />Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company ("Southern Bell" <br />or the "Company") to proceed with the implementation of the <br />Enhanced 911 Emergency Service System for Indian River County, <br />Florida (the "County"). 'Ihis order , which authorizes you <br />to proceed with the installation of the system, is based <br />on our understanding that: <br />1. System Charges <br />The County understands that service will be provided <br />subject to the terms and conditions specified in <br />applicable tariffs of Southern Bell on file with the <br />Florida Public Service Commission and any valid amend- <br />ments thereto. <br />See•Exhibit A hereto for a more particular statement of <br />System Charges. <br />11. Scope of Work <br />It is the intention of Southern Bell and the County to <br />implement an Enhanced 911 Errergency System. Such System <br />will provide use of the exchange nett-7ork at no charge <br />to the caller, will provide facilities �Athi_n the r_etuor'.,- <br />AnsWeringyPoi_nt� (PSAP) , and the ability to+transfer calls <br />from a primary PSAP to the proper agency (police, fire, <br />etc.) or to a secondary PSAP. The E911 System covered <br />hereby is more particularly described in Paragraph VI' <br />below. <br />111. Billing Procedures <br />It is understood and agreed that billing will begin at <br />the time the system is operational and turned over to <br />the County and that the billing procedures shall be as <br />set forth in the Company's applicable tarriffs. <br />SEP 101980 <br />BOOK 44 FAGS 51z <br />
