Provision of Service <br />Selection of the appropriate service to serve the County <br />Will be made mutually by the Company and the County and <br />will be based on a thorough analysis of the County's <br />needs at each location and on availability of facilities <br />in each area. E911 service is provided by the Company <br />only where facility and operating conditions permit. <br />Should an E911 Data Base be required, a service date <br />shall be established which shall be not earlier than <br />24 months from acceptance of this order by Southern Bell <br />but not earlier than 12 months after receipt of an accep- <br />table Data Base, whichever occurs later. <br />V. Data Base Creation <br />A. The provision of raw data for Data Base Creation <br />for the County's E911 system shall be as specified <br />in Exhibit B. Included are (A) Data Base Creation, <br />(B) Site Preparation, (C) Division of Responsibilities, <br />and (D) Outline of functions and their relevant time <br />frames. <br />B. Experimental Geographic Area Data <br />The County agrees to furnish to the Company, within <br />9 months after the date of the parties' mutual <br />acceptance of this letter, an experimental file of <br />geographic areas covering as many PSAP's as possible, <br />both major and secondary. <br />VI. Systems Features <br />The -features of the particular E911 system to be purchased <br />by the County shall include only those features generally <br />described in section A24 of the Company's applicable <br />tariffs as listed in Exhibit C hereof. <br />VII. Special Requirements <br />The County specifically and expressly agrees as follows: <br />1. That at least one PSAP will be provided and staffed <br />on a 24-hour, seven days -per -week basis. <br />2. That the County accepts responsibility for dispatching, <br />or having others dispatch police, fire, ambulance <br />or other emergency services as required, to the <br />extent as such services are reasonably available. <br />_I <br />
