3. That the County will develop an appropriate method <br />of responding to calls for nonparticipating agencies <br />which may be directed to the E911 PSAP by calling <br />parties. <br />4. That the County will subscribe to, or provide, <br />telephone equipment with a capacity adequate to <br />handle the number of incoming E911 lines recommended <br />by the Company to be installed. <br />L� <br />5. That the E911 emergency number is not intended to <br />replace the telephone service of the various public <br />safety agencies which may participate in the use of <br />this number. The County shall subscribe for necessary <br />local exchange service at the PSAP's for administrative <br />purposes for placing of outgoing calls and for receiv- <br />ing other emergency calls, including any which might <br />be relayed by Company operators. <br />VIII. Access to User'Facilities <br />Southern Bell shall, at any reasonable time, be provided <br />access by the County and by all PSAP's to the Premises <br />where the facilities are.located for purposes of instal- <br />lation, inspection, testing, repairing or removing the <br />equipment and facilities used in furnishing the E911 <br />service. <br />IX. Unauthorized Use of System <br />It is understood and agreed that ANI and ALI information <br />pertaining to incoming E911 calls is to be used solely <br />for the purpose of answering, handling and responding to <br />emergency calls in a manner consistent with the nature of <br />the emergency. - <br />X. Liability and Indemnity <br />County and any indemnity obligations in connection there- <br />with shall be limited to that stated in the Company's <br />applicable tariffs. <br />XI. System Modification <br />Additions or deletions to the master E911 System will not <br />be made except upon the prior written consent of the <br />County's Board of County Commissioners and/or their <br />delegate. <br />SEP 101980 <br />9oOK 44 PAuE 514 <br />
