SEP 2 41980 <br />Bou 4.4 FAr,, fi56 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80 - 94 <br />WHEREAS, there is a need to provide a procedure to <br />routinely pay bills for goods and services which amount to <br />less than Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) by the use of <br />facsimile signatures, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. Checks for any purpose which exceed Three <br />Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) will require one live <br />signature in addition to two facsimile signatures. <br />2. Checks in the amount of Three Thousand <br />Dollars ($3,000.00) or less may be signed with a <br />facsimile device without the requirement of a live <br />signature when back-up material consisting of: <br />(a) invoices from vendor, <br />(b) copy of signed purchase order <br />(c) copy of signed delivery receipt <br />are available prior to signature. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Department <br />shall supply the Board of County Commissioners with a check <br />register showing all checks issued, including the vendor's <br />name and check amount on such regular basis as the Board <br />of County Commissioners shall, by motion, determine. <br />This Resolution shall become effective as of the 24th <br />day of September , 1980. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />By 4rA, " , . -, - - I - <br />Willard Siebert, Jr., airman <br />ATTEST: <br />Freda Wright, Cl rk <br />
