To work with the agencies to insure the continued funding of the <br />survey through it's completion, including the mapping, laboratory <br />work and preparation of the manuscript report. <br />E. To utilize soils information in carrying out it's responsibilities <br />in the -application of soil and water conservation measures in the <br />county. <br />3. THE AGENCIES AGREE: <br />& To furnish the necessary professional personnel, transportation, <br />equipment, and supplies to conduct a detailed soil survey and to <br />prepare and publish the report in the regular USDA Series. <br />B. To furnish the necessary professional personnel, transportation, <br />and laboratory facilities to collect and characterize the more <br />important soils through a coordinated program of research on their <br />physical, chemical, and mineralogical properties. <br />C. To furnish the necessary professional personnel, transportation, <br />and equipment to collect and submit samples of selected soils to <br />laboratories of the Florida Department of Transportation for <br />special tests. <br />D. To provide the necessary technical services, on-site assistance, <br />equipment, and materials normally needed to produce, edit, and <br />compile a soil survey for publication. <br />E. To make available to -the Cooperator, in preliminary form the result of <br />surveys, investigations, and interpretations as soon after completion <br />of the field work as practicable. <br />F. To provide the Cooperator with copy(ies) of each complete soil survey <br />field sheet as soon after completion as practical. Additional copies <br />within reason will be made available to county agencies and others <br />as requested. <br />G. To provide the Cooperator with periodic reports on the results of the <br />laboratory work and a final report summarizing the research completed. <br />H. To delineate their separate responsibilities under this Agreement <br />relative to kind and amount of work to be done and division of funds <br />available from the Cooperator. Details of these decisions will be <br />stated in a separate instrument between the Service and the Stations. <br />I. To absorb from their own appropriations that portion of the estimated <br />costs of this undertaking not covered by the amount to be reimbursed <br />the Agencies by the Cooperator. <br />4. IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED: <br />A. Intent to Cooperate: It is the intent of the Cooperator and Agencies <br />to fulfill all obligations of this Agreement. However, commitments <br />cannot be made beyond the period for which funds have been made <br />available.
