Siebert Jr: <br />Chairman <br />Au*22,1980. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS ADVISED THAT THE LEGAL NOTICE WAS IN <br />ORDER, BUT IT WAS NOT NECESSARY TO HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING, <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS THE INTENT OF THE <br />BOARD TO REFER THIS MATTER TO THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br />BEFORE HAVING IT COME BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER LYONS, SECONDED BY COMMIS— <br />SIONER Loy, THAT THE BOARD REFER THE LAND MINING ORDINANCE BACK TO <br />THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS, INPUT AND <br />RECOMMENDATIONS. <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED, AND IT WAS DETERMINED THE REASON FOR <br />THIS ACTION WAS THAT SUFFICIENT NOTICE HAD NOT BEEN MADE TO THE PUBLIC <br />AND THAT A DECISION COULD NOT BE MADE AT THIS TIME. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br />IT WAS VOTED ON AND <br />
