Director Boling confirmed for the Board that 21 affected property owners had been <br />notified of the proposed pipeline, and that the only feedback was from two owners who wanted <br />to be involved in the process. He stated that all interested parties, as well as the St. Johns <br />Improvement District, would be invited to any future meetings with FPL. He also clarified that <br />the pipeline's proposed corridor through Indian River County would follow the existing <br />powerline easements. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />Motion carried unanimously. The Board approved the <br />proposed Agency Report, and directed staff to transmit the <br />report to the Department of Environmental Protection <br />(DEP). <br />12.A.2. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO ABATE RECURRENCE OF A PUBLIC <br />NUISANCE ON AN UNMAINTAINED GOLF COURSE WITHIN VISTA <br />GARDENS MULTIFAMILY DEVELOPMENT (LANDOWNER: VISTA GOLF <br />LLC, CODE ENFORCEMENT CASE No. 2009060086) <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Flescher, SECONDED <br />by Vice Chairman Solari, the Board unanimously <br />approved Alternative 2, to authorize the County's <br />employees, servants, agents, or contractors to again enter <br />upon the Vista Golf, LLC property within Vista Gardens <br />at all reasonable times, and take whatever action is <br />necessary to abate the nuisance described in the report, <br />with costs of the abatement to be recorded as a lien against <br />the subject property, as recommended in the memorandum <br />of January 25, 2010. <br />27 <br />February 2, 2010 <br />
