Vice Chairman Solari indicated that he would make a Motion to send a Commissioner to <br />Washington to make introductions. <br />Commissioner Wheeler did not support making a change to the Resolution for one <br />incident. <br />Commissioner Davis said he would not have a problem going to Washington to make the <br />requested introductions without the Resolution modification. <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Solari, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />sending Commissioner Davis and/or appropriate staff to <br />travel to Washington, D.C., but denied the request to <br />modify the Resolution. <br />Chairman O'Bryan opened the floor for public comment. <br />Penny Chandler, Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, supported confidentiality <br />and the request for introductions. She also noted that the introduction request was not unusual. <br />Frank Zorc, Vero Beach, supported Chairman O'Bryan's intentions to send someone to <br />Washington, DC. <br />Sam Pennington, business owner, voiced concern over spending taxpayer's money to <br />send someone to Washington, D.C. <br />Chairman O'Bryan closed the floor for public comment. <br />3 <br />February 22, 2010 <br />Special Call Meeting <br />
