SCHLITT, AS <br />TRUSTEE, BY CLERK OF THE COURT, AS REQUIRED BY FLORIDA STATUTE 125.66. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT COMMENTED THAT ATTORNEY HENDERSON, <br />REPRESENTING THE APPLICANT FOR THE REZONING, WANTED TO MAKE A STATEMENT. <br />ATTORNEY HENDERSON APPROACHED THE BOARD AND COMMENTED <br />THAT THEY HAVE MET WITH EXTREME OPPOSITION TO THE APPLICATION; PRIMARILY <br />THE CRUX OF THE OPPOSITION IS THAT IT WOULD INCREASE THE DENSITY <br />FROM R-1 TO R -2B, HE CONTINUED THAT IN VIEW OF THAT, HE AND THE <br />APPLICANT HAVE DISCUSSED WITH THE PLANNING STAFF THE IDEA OF ADOPTING <br />A NEW ORDINANCE ALLOWING 6 UNITS PER ACRE - THIS WOULD THEN SOLVE THE <br />PROBLEM. ATTORNEY HENDERSON THEN URGED THE BOARD TO ADOPT AN <br />ORDINANCE FOR MULTIFAMILY DENSITY OF 6 UNITS PER ACRE, AND PENDING <br />THE ADOPTION OF THIS ORDINANCE, THE APPLICANT WOULD WITHDRAW THE <br />28 <br />
