Fp - <br />CCT 81980 BOOK X44 FAGf8 <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE THOUGHT THAT WITH BOTH PROJECTS, THE <br />CONTRACTOR HAS GOTTEN TO A POINT WHERE THEY ARE THROUGH WITH THE <br />DEMOLITION PORTION AND SHOULD SOON BE ABLE TO GET INTO THE FINISH <br />WORK. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS ASKED IF THERE WOULD BE SOME SORT OF <br />FINISH WHERE THE WINDOWS WERE BEING FILLED IN. <br />MR. KONTOULAS REPORTED THAT THE OUTSIDE FINISH WOULD BE <br />STUCCO, AND THE INTERIOR FINISH WILL MATCH THE DRYWALL. <br />ANN ROBINSON, INTERESTED CITIZEN, CAME FORWARD AND <br />COMPLIMENTED MR. KONTOULAS ON THE OUTSTANDING JOB HE DID FOR THE <br />SCHOOL BOARD, AND ALSO FOR THE WORK HE IS NOW DOING FOR THE COUNTY. <br />COMMENTS BY MR. C. E. YODER <br />MR. C. E. YODER APPROACHED THE BOARD AND COMMENTED THAT HE <br />CAME TO THIS AREA IN 1915 AND BACK THEN HE THOUGHT IT WAS A WONDERFUL <br />PLACE, AND A GOOD AREA IN WHICH TO LIVE, HE SAID HE TRIED TO RETAIN <br />AS MUCH OF THE NATURAL GROWTH ON HIS PROPERTY THAT HE DEVELOPED AND <br />SOLD IN 1976. MR, YODER HAS ENJOYED LIVING HERE AND THOUGHT IT <br />SHOULD BE KEPT NICE FOR OUR CHILDREN, HE MENTIONED THAT PEOPLE FROM <br />THE SOUTH ARE MOVING UP TO THIS AREA, AND THERE MUST BE A REASON. <br />HE STRESSED THAT THE BOARD IS IN A POSITION TO KEEP THE AREA NICE, <br />AND URGED THE BOARD NOT TO LET IT BECOME "BULLDOZER CLEAR." MR. <br />YODER WAS PLEASED WITH THE CHANGES BEING MADE IN THE COURTHOUSE AND <br />SUGGESTED THAT A DRAWING BE KEPT OF THE CHANGES. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT COMMENTED THAT ONE OF THE THINGS THE <br />BOARD HAS INSISTED ON WAS A SET OF DRAWINGS OF ALL THE CHANGES BEING <br />MADE. HE COMPLIMENTED MR. YODER AND SAID THAT THE 13 ACRES HE OWNED <br />WAS AN ASSET TO THE COUNTY. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS COMMENTED THAT BEFORE THE COUNTY TAKES <br />ANY AFFIRMATIVE ACTION REGARDING THE HIGHLAND MOTEL, WE SHOULD HAVE <br />A DEFINITIVE RESPONSE FROM THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION.
