ORDINANCE NO. 2014- 019 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING SECTION 204.12 "STANDARDS FOR <br />FRANCHISE ISSUANCE" AND SECTION 204.15 <br />"FRANCHISE RENEWALS" OF CHAPTER 204 OF THE <br />CODE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ENTITLED "SOLID <br />WASTE DISPOSAL" TO REQUIRE THE APPLICATION <br />PROCESS TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THE REQUEST <br />FOR PROPOSAL PROCESS; AND PROVIDING FOR <br />SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: <br />Section 1. Amendment of Chapter 204 (Solid Waste Disposal). <br />Sections 204.12 and 204.15 of Chapter 204 of the Code of Indian River County, Florida <br />are hereby amended to read as follows (added language is underlined, and deleted <br />language noted by strikethrough): <br />Section 204.12. — Procedure Standards for franchise issuance. <br />d*GtFiGt'6 <br />days'with at least teR (10) <br />that:meeting. The district board shall <br />approve an application or applications for a franchise in a manner consistent with the <br />Request for Proposal process set forth in the policies and procedures manual <br />prepared pursuant to Section 105.06 of the County Code. The district board may <br />include process requirements for applications in addition to those set forth in the <br />policies and procedures manual prepared pursuant to Section 105.06 of the County <br />Code.
