THIS IS NOT <br />REQUIRED BY ORDINANCE, BUT THE BOARD HAS TRIED TO KEEP IT THAT WAY. <br />CHAIRMAN LYONS CONFIRMED THAT THE COMMISSION DOES HAVE <br />THE OPPORTUNITY TO VOTE ON THE NOMINEE, AND IF THEY FEEL STRONGLY, <br />THEY CAN VOTE SOMEONE DOWN ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT GENERALLY THE CASE. <br />CHAIRMAN LYONS ANNOUNCED THAT HE WOULD ADJOURN THE MEETING <br />AT THIS TIME AND ASK THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR TO INTRODUCE THE <br />VARIOUS DEPARTMENT HEADS TO THE NEW COMMISSIONERS.
