DEC 171980 <br />8b% 45 PA -N-440 <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS COMMENTED THAT SMITH BARNEY MADE A PROPOSAL <br />WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY ACCEPTED WITH SOME CONDITIONS, AND SOME CONDITIONS <br />WERE REJECTED; NOW THAT PROPOSAL MUST BE REVIEWED BY SMITH BARNEY AND <br />THEN ACCEPTED BY THE COUNTY. THE ATTORNEY ADDED THAT ONCE THIS PROPOSAL <br />IS ACCEPTED, THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK CAN BE PREPARED FOR SUBMISSION <br />TO THE BOARD FOR APPROVAL OF BOND COUNSEL. <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED ABOUT BOND ANTICIPATION NOTES, AND <br />ABOUT INTERIM FINANCING. <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATOR.THOMAS COMMENTED THAT ALL <br />POSSIBILITIES MUST BE INVESTIGATED, AND THAT IS WHY HE FELT AN ADDITIONAL <br />BOND ADVISOR WAS NEEDED, <br />COMMISSIONER SCURLOCK AGREED, <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SCURLOCK, SECONDED BY COMMIS - <br />SIGNER BIRD THAT MR. THOMAS BE DIRECTED TO ADVISE SMITH BARNEY TO <br />PROCEED TO REVIEW THE PRIOR PROPOSAL, MAKE ADJUSTMENTS, APPEAR BEFORE <br />THE BOARD FOR ACCEPTANCE OF THE PROPOSAL, AND THEN PROCEED WITH THE <br />NECESSARY PAPERWORK FOR APPROVAL OF BOND COUNSEL BY THE BOARD. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. IT WAS VOTED ON AND <br />CARRIED WITH A VOTE OF 4 TO 1, WITH COMMISSIONER FLETCHER VOTING IN <br />OPPOSITION. <br />AUTHORIZATION FOR ADDITIONAL EXPENSES RE 201 FACILITY PLAN <br />THE BOARD NEXT REVIEWED THE FOLLOWING PROPOSAL: <br />
