(3) <br />Water quality shall at least meet EPA and State of <br />Florida safe drinking water requirements. <br />Solid Waste: <br />The following level of service standards are hereby adopted <br />for solid waste facilities in the county, and shall be used <br />as the basis for determining the availability of facility <br />capacity and the demand generated by a development: <br />Service Area <br />County -wide <br />(4) Sanitary Sewer: <br />Average Solid Waste Generation Rate <br />6.5 pound per capita per day <br />or <br />2.37 cubic yards per capita per year <br />The level of service standards for the county's sanitary sewer <br />facilities of 250 gallons per day (GPD) per equivalent <br />residential unit (ERU), based on county ordinance 84-18, with <br />a peak monthly flow factor of 1.25 are hereby adopted and <br />shall be utilized for determining the availability of facility <br />capacity and the demand generated by a development. <br />(5) Recreation & Open Space: <br />The county hereby adopts recreation levels -of -service as <br />follows: <br />(a) Urban district parks, specialty parks (beach), and <br />specialty parks (river) are considered countywide parks. <br />The following levels -of -service are applicable county- <br />wide. <br />Park Type Acres per 1000 Population <br />Urban District 5 <br />Specialty (beach) 1.5 <br />Specialty (river) 1.5 <br />(b) Community park levels -of -service are hereby set <br />separately for the north and south districts. For the <br />south district, two levels -of -service are set, one for <br />the period from 1989 to 1995 and the other from 1996- <br />2010. <br />136 <br />
