No more than one (1) such sign may be placed at <br />each respective point of entry to a subdivision or <br />development. Such sign may be located within a <br />road right-of-way provided the sign is: <br />a. Located at least eight (8) feet from any <br />roadway; <br />b. Constructed as a breakaway sign; <br />c. No more than three (3) feet in height measured <br />from the crown of the adjacent road; <br />d. Maintained only during the hours of 6 a.m. to <br />5 p.m.; and <br />e. No greater than four (4) square feet in area. <br />No on or off premises garage sale signs shall be <br />maintained for a period exceeding three (3) <br />consecutive days and shall not be maintained for <br />more than a total of nine (9) days during a <br />calendar year. <br />These requirements are a restatement of a section <br />chapter 956 of the sign ordinance. <br />No permit from the planning division is required to be issued <br />to conduct a garage sale in accordance with these <br />regulations. <br />(6) Home occupations. <br />(A) Authorizations. Home occupations are permitted in any <br />dwelling unit subject to the following provisions. <br />(B) Authorized Home Occupations. The following home <br />occupations shall be permitted uses, subject to the <br />requirements of this section and the respective zoning <br />district. <br />1. Artists and sculptors. <br />2. Authors and composers. <br />3. Dressmakers, seamstresses and tailors. <br />4. Computer programming. <br />5. Home crafts, such as model making, rug weaving, <br />lapidary work, and ceramics. <br />6. Office facility of a minister, rabbi, priest or <br />other similar person associated with a religious <br />organization. <br />7. Office facility of a salesman, sales <br />representative, or manufacturers representative, <br />provided that no retail or wholesale transactions <br />are made on the premises, and that no clients are <br />attracted to the premises. <br />8.
