(2) Construction trailers may be allowed in conjunction <br />with construction of subdivision improvements, and <br />in conjunction with the construction of model and <br />display homes in subdivisions for a period of up to <br />but not exceeding one (1) year from the date of <br />final plat approval. <br />No watchman's quarters trailers are allowed in the <br />RFD, RS -1, RS -2, RS -3, RS -6, or RT -6 zoning <br />districts. No construction storage facility or <br />construction trailers exceeding two hundred sixty <br />(260) square feet in area may be allowed in the <br />RFD, RS -1, RS -2, RS -3, RS -6, or RT -6 zoning <br />districts or within a single family subdivision <br />development, except as allowed for construction <br />trailers in section (4) (A) (2) above. <br />(4) Watchman's quarters trailers or recreational <br />vehicles may be allowed only in the A-1, A-2 or <br />A-3 zoning districts upon issuance of a building <br />permit to construct a residence and temporary use <br />permit to temporarily allow the trailer or <br />recreational vehicle. No such watchman's quarters <br />trailer permit shall be allowed for a period of <br />more than one (1) year; no extensions shall be <br />granted. <br />(5) Garage Sales and Yard Sales. Garage sales and yard sales are <br />allowed to be conducted from any residence, with the <br />following restrictions: <br />(3) <br />(A) no sale shall be conducted for more than three (3) <br />consecutive days; <br />(B) no more than three (3) sales may be conducted from any <br />residence or site in any given calendar year; and <br />(C) garage sale signs are allowed only as specified herein. <br />The number, size, location, and other characteristics of <br />garage sale or yard sale signs are as follows. <br />1. One (1) on -premise garage sale sign per street <br />frontage may be maintained between the hours of 6 <br />a.m. and 5 p.m. The sign shall not exceed four (4) <br />square feet. Said signs shall be located outside <br />of rights-of-way, within property lines, and shall <br />maintain a ten (10) foot setback from all adjacent <br />property lines, excepting the road right-of-way <br />from which no setback is required. <br />One additional off -premise garage sale sign may be <br />maintained per entry into a subdivision or <br />development in which a garage sale is taking place. <br />230 <br />
