g. <br />road is not the yard providing the <br />main entrance to the lot. <br />b. On lots where no rear yard, as <br />defined in Chapter 911, Zoning, <br />exists having a width at least one- <br />half (1/2) the applicable minimum <br />lot width, one side yard or side <br />yard area may be designated by the <br />property owner as a "rear yard" for <br />the purposes of applying the <br />regulations contained within this <br />section. <br />(III) Pool decks and patios. No deck or patio <br />constructed in conjunction with any <br />swimming pool shall be located within an <br />easement or closer than five (5) feet to <br />any property line. <br />(IV) Pool enclosures. No screen enclosures <br />for swimming pools shall be located <br />within an easement or closer than ten <br />(10) feet to the rear property line on <br />interior or corner lots. For purposes of <br />this paragraph, yards which are not <br />adjacent to the main entrance of the lot, <br />but which abut a road classified as an <br />arterial road on the county's <br />thoroughfare plan map shall be considered <br />rear yards. Pool enclosures shall not <br />encroach on the required rear yard on <br />either double frontage lots or corner <br />lots if the rear yard abuts or faces the <br />front yard providing the main entrance to <br />another lot. <br />Play equipment, lights, outdoor furniture. <br />Play equipment, wires, lights, outdoor <br />furniture, mailboxes, ornamental entry columns <br />and gates, and outdoor equipment are allowed <br />within required yards. <br />h. Unenclosed porches, steps and paved terraces. <br />An unroofed porch, steps or paved terrace area <br />may project into the front yard for a distance <br />not to exceed ten (10) feet. <br />i.
