Section 912.16 Excavation, Mining, and <br />Ponds may be created on single family <br />pond permit from the environmental <br />planning division. <br />(1) Pond and pond permit regulations <br />from a subsection of Chapter 934, <br />A pond or ponds are allowed <br />provided that: <br />Ponds <br />parcels upon issuance of a <br />planning section of the <br />are as follows (restated <br />Excavation and Mining) <br />on a single family parcel <br />(a) The total surface area of the pond or ponds (at design <br />elevation) is not greater than one-half (1/2) acre in <br />size or thirty-five (35) percent of the lot, whichever <br />is more restrictive; <br />(b) No excavation takes place within fifty (50) feet of the <br />lot property line. Notwithstanding, in cases where the <br />pond is necessary to meet stormwater management cut and <br />fill balance requirements, said setback may be reduced <br />to 25% of parcel width perpendicular to a given lot <br />line, as applicable; <br />The excavation does not disturb any existing wetland; <br />Pond depth does not exceed twelve (12) feet; <br />Side slopes are not greater than one foot (1) vertical <br />to four (4) feet horizontal; <br />There will be no hauling of excavated material from the <br />property unless the excavation is conducted to satisfy <br />cut and fill balance requirements for stormwater <br />management purposes, as verified by the county engineer, <br />provided removal of excavated material off-site is the <br />minimum necessary to satisfy said requirements; <br />It is demonstrated that the pond excavation is the <br />minimum necessary to satisfy the intended use of fill on <br />site, as applicable; and <br />A pond permit is obtained from County Planning Division, <br />including the posting of a two hundred fifty dollar <br />($250.00) five hundred ($500.00) bond to be returned <br />upon verification by county staff that the above <br />criteria have been satisfied. <br />Section 912.17 Parking and Storage <br />As restated from the "General Provisions" subsection of Chapter <br />911, Zoning, the following regulations apply to parking commercial <br />263 <br />
