(3) <br />Greenhouses (non-commercial) are, by definition, strictly for <br />the personal enjoyment of the property owner. No special <br />approval for a greenhouse is needed if it does not exceed 200 <br />square feet in area. Only a building permit, issued by the <br />building division, is required. All normal setbacks apply. <br />(a) Greenhouses (non-commercial) over 200 square feet in <br />size are allowed by administrative permit approval which <br />requires site plan review and approval by the planning <br />and zoning commission. <br />1. Special criteria, found in Chapter 971, Specific <br />Land Use Criteria, must be satisfied by the site <br />plan/administrative permit application. NOTE: in <br />no case shall the area of the non-commercial <br />greenhouse exceed 5% of the area of the site. <br />(4) Towers, transmission and/or reception. Towers shall be <br />measured the same as building height. <br />(a) Towers up to thirty-five (35) feet in height shall have <br />no location restrictions and will have normal setbacks <br />for the applicable zoning districts. <br />(b) Towers which are thirty-five (35) feet to seventy (70) <br />feet in height shall be restricted to locations which <br />are a distance of 110% of the height of the tower from <br />any perimeter property. <br />(c) Towers over seventy (70) feet are not allowed in single <br />family zoning districts. However, towers over 70' are <br />allowed in the A-1 and A-2 zoning districts. <br />(5) Beach access dune crossover structures. <br />(a) DNR as well as county approval of such structure is <br />required. <br />(b) Such structures shall be wood -pile supported and <br />elevated 24" - 30" above dune vegetation. <br />(c) Such structures shall be limited to one per single <br />family parcel unless otherwise approved pursuant to <br />Chapter 932, Coastal Management. <br />Further information and specifications are contained yin <br />Chapter 932, Coastal Management. <br />262 <br />
