works department. Any revisions to layout of the <br />preliminary plat are subject to the provisions of section <br />913.07(4)(N), modifications. <br />(G) Inspections. The public works director, county engineer, <br />community development director, county administrator, and <br />county utilities director, or their representatives, <br />shall have the right to inspect the project for the <br />purpose of ensuring that all improvements are being <br />constructed_in conformance with the provisions of this <br />chapter, the approved preliminary plat, and land <br />development permit. All required data, tests and reports <br />specified in this chapter shall be submitted and approved <br />by the public works director prior to acceptance or final <br />approval of improvments. Required installation of <br />subsurface construction such as water and sewer lines, <br />public utilities, traffic -control devices and storm <br />drainage shall be completed prior to compaction of <br />subgrade and road construction. <br />1. Reasonable tests results may be required by the <br />public works director, provided to the county at <br />the expense of the applicant by a testing <br />laboratory approved by the public works department. <br />Compaction testing shall be done one (1) test every <br />eight hundred (800) feet, with a minimum of three <br />(3) tests per lift, per street. Such tests shall <br />include, but not be limited to, compaction tests <br />for subgrade, base and asphalt, material <br />specifications tests to assure adherence to <br />specifications of base, soil cement, asphaltic <br />concrete, Portland cement concrete, drainage pipe <br />and other materials, sanitary sewer pipe, water <br />lines and materials and tests of other such <br />materials and procedures as may be required to <br />assure that construction is according to the plans <br />and specifications approved by the land development <br />permit. <br />(H) Notification. The respective county division shall be <br />notified, in writing, with copies to the community <br />development division, of the commencement and completion <br />of the following items of construction so that an <br />immediate inspection can be performed to ensure <br />construction in conformance with said approved <br />construction plans and specifications and the <br />requirements of this chapter. If the county notifies the <br />developer that no county inspector is available to <br />inspect within 48 hours of an inspection request, and if <br />a delay in inspection would cause a delay in the project, <br />then this requirement may be met by submission of a <br />certificate from the .engineer of record that all <br />construction was completed in accordance with the land <br />development permit: <br />297 <br />
