Grubbing - The removal or destruction of any living rooted
<br />shrubbery; the denuding of parcel by digging, raking, or
<br />dragging; activities which disturb the roots of such vegetation or
<br />the soil in which such roots are located in a manner which is
<br />calculated to result, or likely to result, in the death,
<br />destruction or removal of such vegetation.
<br />Gun - Any instrument capable of firing a projectile or bullet at
<br />a high velocity, including, but not limited to, any air gun, sling
<br />or slingshot.
<br />Hazardous Waste - Solid waste, or a combination of solid wastes,
<br />which because of its quantity, concentration, physical, chemical,
<br />or infectious characteristics, may cause, or significantly
<br />contribute to, an increase in mortality or an increase in serious
<br />irreversible or incapacitating reversible illness or may pose a
<br />substantial present or potential hazard to human health or the
<br />environment when improperly transported, disposed of, stored,
<br />treated, or otherwise managed. These materials include volatile,
<br />chemical, biological, explosive, flammable, radioactive, toxic
<br />materials, fecal wastes, animal carcasses, and pathologic wastes.
<br />Health Club - A facility which may be a gymnasium (except public),
<br />private club (athletic, health, or recreational), reducing salons
<br />or weight control establishment. Also See Commercial Amusement,

<br />Health/Recreation Facility - An indoor facility including uses such
<br />as game courts, exercise equipment, locker rooms, jacuzzi, and/or
<br />sauna and pro shop. See also Commercial Amusement, Enclosed.
<br />Hedge - A landscape barrier consisting of a continuous, dense
<br />planting of shrubs.
<br />Height - The vertical distance to the highest point of the roof for
<br />flat roofs; to the deck line of mansard roofs; and to the average
<br />height between eaves and the ridge for sloped roofs, measured from
<br />the average natural grade or the minimum flood elevation, whichever
<br />is higher.
<br />Helipad - An area designed to accommodate touch -down and lift-off
<br />of one helicopter for the purpose of picking up and discharging
<br />passengers or cargo. Such an area shall contain no operation
<br />facilities other than one (1) tie down space and such additional
<br />facilities as required by law, ordinance or regulation.
<br />Heliport - An area designed to accommodate all phases of operation
<br />of helicopters with suitable space and facilities for a terminal,
<br />loading, unloading service and storage of such aircraft, to include
<br />facilities for such accessory uses as are commonly associated with
<br />an airport terminal.
<br />Highest Adjacent Grade - The highest natural elevation of the
<br />ground surface prior to construction next to the proposed walls of
<br />a structure.
