Glare - A sensation of brightness within the visual field that <br />causes annoyance, discomfort, or loss in visual performance and <br />visibility. <br />Golf Driving Range - See Commercial Amusement, Unenclosed. <br />Grade - The inclination with respect to the horizontal plane of any <br />land such being generally expressed by stating the vertical rise <br />or fall as a percentage of the horizontal distance. <br />Grants - Contributions or gifts of cash or other assets from a <br />public or private agency or government to be used or expended for <br />a specific purpose, activity, or facility. <br />Greenhouse - A building whose roof and sides are made largely of <br />glass or other transparent or translucent material in which the <br />temperature and humidity can be independently regulated for the <br />cultivation of plants for subsequent sale or personal enjoyment. <br />This definition shall not include noncommercial structures which <br />are accessory to a permitted principal use and do not have a gross <br />floor area that exceeds two hundred (200) square feet. <br />Grid Numbering System - A uniform method of assigning and <br />coordinating the addresses of buildings and properties based on a <br />designated grid system. <br />Gross Leasable Area - The gross building area and site area that <br />is rented or leased for money or other goods or considerations for <br />any activity or use. <br />Ground Cover - Low growing plants other than turf grass that, by <br />the nature of their characteristics, completely cover the ground <br />and do not usually exceed two (2) feet in height. <br />Groundwater Aquifer - See Aquifer. <br />Group Home - Level I - A State licensed facility which provides <br />a family living environment including the supervision and care <br />necessary to meet physical, emotional, and social life needs of <br />clients. The facility may also provide education and training for <br />resident clients. Level 1 group homes shall have maximum capacity <br />of no more than eight (8) residents. <br />Group Homes - Level II, III and Residential Centers - State <br />licensed facilities which provide a family living environment <br />including supervision and care necessary to meet physical, <br />emotional, and social life needs of clients. The facilities may <br />also provide education and training for resident clients. These <br />group homes shall be distinguished by their resident capacity as <br />follows: <br />Level II group home, up to twelve (12) residents; <br />Level III group home, up to twenty (20) residents; and Residential <br />centers, twenty-one (21) or more residents. <br />39 <br />
