coastal strand, coastal/tropical hammocks, pine flatwoods, dry <br />prairies, xeric scrub, cabbage palm hammocks, and upland hardwood <br />hammocks. <br />Vehicle - Any wheeled conveyance, whether motor powered, animal <br />drawn or self propelled. The term shall include any trailer in tow <br />of any size, kind or description. <br />Vehicular Access - A driveway, roadway, apron or other travelway <br />to facilitate vehicular movement to and from property adjoining a <br />highway. Includes only that part of a driveway that lies within <br />the highway right-of-way boundaries. <br />Vehicular Race Track - See Commercial Amusement, Unenclosed. <br />Vines - Any of a group of woody or herbaceous plants which may <br />climb by twining, by means of aerial rootlets or by means of <br />tendrils, or which may simply sprawl over the ground or other <br />plants. <br />Visible Light - See Illuminate. <br />Volume (Traffic) - The number of vehicles to pass a predetermined <br />location during a specified period of time. <br />Warehouse - A building used primarily for the storage of goods and <br />materials. <br />Waste Generation Unit (WGU) - A basic unit of waste generation <br />equivalent to 1.0 ton per year. <br />Wastewater - Untreated sewage. <br />Wastewater Collection Network - The system of pipes which convey <br />the untreated wastewater from individual homes and other <br />establishments to the treatment plant. <br />Wastewater Interceptors - Parts of the collection system which <br />connect directly to and convey sewage to the treatment plant. <br />Wastewater System, Regional - A regional wastewater system <br />consisting of regional treatment plant, main collection and <br />transmission network located and sized to handle the ultimate usage <br />based on the wastewater master plan. <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant - The facility which functions to remove <br />solid and organic materials from the wastewater. <br />Wastewater Treatment Plants, Regional - Large scale sanitary sewer <br />systems comprised of three components: collection of raw sewage; <br />treatment of the sewage; and the disposal of the treated sludge and <br />effluent. <br />Wastewater Treatment Process - The means by which solid and organic <br />materials are removed from the untreated wastewater. <br />83 <br />
