LUMP SUM <br />The COUNTY agrees to compensate the CONSULTANT for the professional <br />services called for under Attachment B of this Agreement in a Lump Sum <br />amount of twelve thousand dollars ($12,000). For COUNTY'S internal bud- <br />get purposes, the following summary estimates budget amounts for indivi- <br />dual elements: <br />1. Transportation Element $ 3,290 <br />2. Sanitary Sewer, Solid Waste, Drainage <br />and Potable Water Element 1,460 <br />3. Conservation/Coastal Zone Element 2,560 <br />4. Housing Element 2,860 <br />5. Recreation and Open Space Element 1,830 <br />TOTAL $12,000 <br />except as provided herein <br />B. ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />Services authorized by the COUNTY other than those specifically listed in <br />Attachment B shall be considered additional services for which the COUNTY <br />shall compensate the CONSULTANT. Additional services shall include revi- <br />sions to work previously performed that are required because of a change <br />in the data or criteria furnished to the CONSULTANT, or a change in the <br />scope or concept of the project initiated by the COUNTY and/or services <br />that are required by changes in the requirements of public agencies, <br />after work under this Agreement has commenced. Compensation for addi- <br />tional services shall be as follows: <br />1. Time Charges. The COUNTY agrees to compensate the CONSULTANT <br />for the additional services by taking the direct personnel expense of all <br />those persons engaged directly on the COUNTY'S work and adding a sur- <br />charge of 150% for overhead and profit. Direct personnel expense is <br />defined as the cost of salaries (including sick leave, vacation, and <br />holiday pay applicable thereto) of engineers/planners, technicians, <br />draftsmen, typists (reports/specifications), surveymen, etc., for time <br />directly chargeable to the project; plus payroll taxes, retirement and <br />_rance benefits.
